Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Alize (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Alize is operated by Alize (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. The Service

Alize provides a daily email digest summarizing YouTube videos from channels you select. We use AI to score, summarize, and structure video content. Summaries are generated automatically and may not perfectly represent the original video content.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. One account per person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free and Pro plans

Alize offers a free tier and a paid Pro plan. The Pro plan is billed monthly at the price displayed at checkout. You can cancel at any time from your settings page or Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. YouTube data

If you connect your YouTube account, we access only your public subscription list to personalize your digest. We do not access your watch history, private playlists, or post content on your behalf. You can disconnect YouTube at any time from settings. Our use of YouTube API data complies with the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

6. Content

Digest content is AI-generated and provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Video titles, channel names, and summaries reference third-party content that we do not own or control. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

7. Prohibited use

You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits
• Redistribute digest content commercially without permission

8. Availability

We aim to deliver your digest daily but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Digests may be delayed or missed due to upstream API changes, infrastructure issues, or maintenance. We are not liable for missed or late deliveries.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
